“I make small steps daily toward the vision for my life. You may not notice the change now, but over time it will be undeniable.” - Marc Payan
By taking 1 hour per day for independent study, 7 hours per week, 365 hours in a year, one can learn at the rate of a full-time student. In 3-5 years, the average person can become an expert in the topic of their choice, by spending only one hour per day.
You can apply the “1hr. per day” principle to any area of your life (intellectual, emotional, physical, spiritual, etc) and virtually change every thing!
We can change our lives. We can do, have, and be exactly what we wish.
I have been convinced that it starts with a change in beliefs (of who you are and whose you are). Create a vision of the desired change. Don’t let the environment, your circumstances, other people’s beliefs, or the limits of what has been done in the past shape your decisions. Decide and take unprecedented action. Immediately create massive momentum to propel you in the desired direction and away from past behavioral patterns that sabotage your success. You are now on the journey to a better you.
Forget your past. Who are you now? Who have you decided you really are now? Don’t think about who you have been. Who are you now? Who have you decided to become?
There is No Secret to Change
Change happens the moment you choose a goal that inspires you. True inspiration leads you to make a committed decision. It’s in your moments of decision that your destiny is shaped. The alternative is to drive through life on cruise-control. Everyone has a cruise-control button in their life—a life script given to you by your parents, childhood experiences, friends, lovers, etc. which influences your behavior. Ever wonder why some people get angry very easily and others run from conflict? It is the power of their life script or cruise-control in action—what they do effortlessly. Whether good or bad your life script is with you and is your greatest enabler. Are you ready for the good news? You can change the impact of your life script. Yes, the truth is that change is hard. However, it is equally true that the choice to make a change is within you. It’s not in this blog or the latest self-help book. The power to change is deep within you—an unrelenting conviction screaming to be released. What are you pretending not to know about who you are? Now is the time to rewrite all rules that have prevented you from taking action—committed, consistent action.
